Pay-as-you-go

Only need one contract? Pay for one.

Lexly credits are one-off, pay-per-use top-ups — a single AI contract draft, a single AI risk review, or a single legally-binding e-signature. From $6, no subscription, nothing to cancel.

What are Lexly credits?

Credits let you use Lexly without a monthly plan. Each credit covers one action: draft a contract with Contract Forge, run an AI risk review with Contract Sense, or send a contract for e-signature. Buy a single credit, a starter bundle, or a value pack — they sit on your account for 12 months and there's nothing to cancel.

No subscription

Pay once. Credits never auto-renew and there's nothing to cancel — ideal for occasional, one-off needs.

Used only when you run out

On a paid plan, your monthly allowance is spent first — credits are overflow that kick in only after that.

Valid for a full year

Every credit stays on your account for 365 days from purchase. Team credits are pooled for the whole team.

Credits or a subscription — which is right for me?

Credits are best for occasional, one-off needs. A monthly plan is more cost-effective once you regularly create, review or sign contracts — and it adds AI chat, higher limits and a 7-day free trial.

Credits — frequently asked questions

What are Lexly credits?
Lexly credits are one-off, pay-per-use top-ups for a single action — one contract draft (Forge), one AI risk review (Sense), or one e-signature request. They let you use Lexly without a monthly subscription: buy only what you need, when you need it. Credits start at $6 and a starter bundle with one of each is $14.
How much do Lexly credits cost?
A single contract draft is $6, a single AI contract review is $7, and a single e-signature is $6. A starter bundle (one draft + one review + one e-signature) is $14. Value packs of five are cheaper per credit: 5 contract drafts for $25 ($5 each), 5 AI reviews for $30 ($6 each), and 5 e-signatures for $25 ($5 each).
Do I need a subscription to buy credits?
No. Anyone can buy credits — including users whose 7-day free trial has ended. There's no subscription, nothing auto-renews, and there's nothing to cancel. You pay once and the credits sit on your account until you use them.
How are credits used if I'm on a paid plan?
Credits are overflow. If you're on a paid plan, your monthly plan allowance is always spent first; credits are only drawn down once that monthly allowance is used up. This makes credits a safety net for a busy month without forcing you to upgrade your whole plan.
Do Lexly credits expire?
Yes — each credit is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. For Team accounts, credits are pooled on the team billing owner's account, the same way plan usage is shared across the team.
Should I buy credits or a subscription?
Credits are best for occasional, one-off needs — a single contract or review every now and then. If you regularly create, review or sign contracts, a monthly plan is more cost-effective: Solo is $19/month for 25 drafts, 40 reviews and 15 e-signatures, plus unlimited-feel AI chat and a 7-day free trial. As a rule of thumb, once you need more than a few actions a month, a plan pays for itself.
Can I buy credits for AI chat?
No. Credits cover contract drafts, AI risk reviews and e-signatures. AI chat questions are included with every plan (and the free trial) but aren't sold as one-off credits.

Pay only for what you use.
